Lineage & Temperament
Lineage & Temperament
Born of Intention. Raised Through Connection.
Every House of Corso placement begins long before a litter arrives. It begins with temperament, emotional steadiness, structure, and the quiet qualities that shape how a dog moves through the world and bonds with the people around them.
These qualities cannot be manufactured. They are lived daily — within the home, within routine, and within the relationships that define a companion’s life from the very beginning.
The Foundation of Every Placement
At House of Corso, lineage is never viewed simply through pedigree alone. It is understood through temperament, emotional balance, socialisation, environment, and the consistency of daily life.
Our sire and dam are not raised separately from the rhythms of family life. They live closely alongside us — through morning routines, walks, quiet evenings, companionship, and structure. The emotional steadiness they carry into daily life forms the foundation of every placement we make.
This is the standard from which every House of Corso litter begins.
Chaos is a pure Cane Corso — a breed defined by loyalty, quiet authority, and an unwavering devotion to those he calls family. Zera is a pure Presa Canario — a breed shaped by centuries of calm determination, attentiveness, and a deeply grounded confidence. Their pairing was not incidental. It was considered with the same care and intention that defines every aspect of this programme — two complementary natures, each bringing emotional depth, structural integrity, and a temperament built for genuine companionship. What emerges from that union is not simply a litter. It is a lineage shaped by purpose, steadiness, and the belief that exceptional companionship is cultivated through both the qualities a dog is born with and the environment in which those qualities are allowed to flourish.
The Dam — Zera
Steady. Nurturing. Socially Intelligent.
At two and a half years old, Zera possesses a calm and deeply grounded presence. Affectionate without anxiousness and attentive without reactivity, she carries herself with the quiet steadiness that naturally settles the environment around her.
Her emotional intelligence is one of her defining qualities. She reads energy instinctively, responds gently, and forms exceptionally close bonds with those she trusts most. There is warmth in her nature, but also balance, patience, and emotional restraint.
The qualities she passes forward are not simply physical. They are emotional — steadiness, connection, calmness, and trust.
The Sire — Chaos
Grounded. Powerful. Quietly Confident.
Approaching three years old, Chaos is physically powerful, muscular, and composed, yet entirely calm within himself. His presence is immediately felt, though never through aggression or intensity. Instead, it is expressed through steadiness, attentiveness, and an ease that reflects both confidence and emotional balance.
He is deeply loyal, intelligent, and quietly determined. There is gentleness beneath his physical strength and a calm attentiveness that defines the way he moves through the world and alongside his family.
His confidence is not performative. It is simply part of who he is.
Temperament & Philosophy
We do not breed for extremes.
We breed for balance — for companions who are protective without being reactive, loyal without possessiveness, confident without unpredictability, and emotionally stable within family life.
The Corso–Presa, when raised thoughtfully and guided consistently, possesses extraordinary emotional depth and connection. These are companions who bond profoundly, observe carefully, and thrive within environments built around structure, trust, calmness, and consistency.
Every decision we make — from pairing and socialisation to placement and long-term support — exists to protect and strengthen those qualities.
A Lineage Worth Continuing
The dogs featured here are more than the parents of our current litter. They are the living expression of the House of Corso philosophy itself: calm structure, emotional steadiness, thoughtful companionship, and quiet confidence carried consistently through daily life.
The qualities they embody are present within every placement that leaves our programme.
If you feel drawn to what you see here, we invite you to explore our current litter and begin the conversation thoughtfully and without pressure.

Exceptional companionship begins with trust, structure, and the right conversation.
