Collection Day & Bringing Your Companion Home

Collection Day — House of Corso

The Beginning of Something Lasting

There is a particular quiet that arrives just before something meaningful begins. Collection day at House of Corso is never approached as a transaction, but as a threshold — a moment prepared for thoughtfully together, and one guided with the same care and intention that has shaped every step of the placement journey.

Preparing for Collection

Collection timing is confirmed personally to ensure the experience unfolds at a pace that feels calm and considered for both you and your companion. In the days leading up to collection, we remain available to walk through final details, answer questions, and guide you through preparation with clarity and care.

Any remaining balance may be completed securely online in advance or settled through an approved certified payment method at the time of collection — whichever feels most comfortable for you.

We encourage owners to prepare a quiet and consistent environment at home ahead of arrival: a resting space, familiar routine, and a calm atmosphere. Your companion will be deeply attuned to the environment you create from the very beginning.

What Your Companion Comes Home With

Every House of Corso companion departs with a complete portfolio of veterinary documentation, including health records, vaccination history, and personalised care information prepared for both your reference and your veterinarian’s.

You will also receive guidance surrounding nutrition, structure, routine, and the transition into home life. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is left without consideration.

The Collection Experience

Collection day is intentionally unhurried.

You will be welcomed personally, and time will be given for your first moments together to unfold naturally. We believe the introduction between companion and owner deserves space — not simply a handover, but the beginning of a relationship.

Throughout the experience, guidance and support remain available to ensure you leave feeling calm, prepared, and confident moving into this next chapter together.

Coming Home

The first days at home are often quiet and deeply formative. Your companion will be adjusting to new surroundings, unfamiliar sounds, and the comfort of your presence. Patience, consistency, and calm reassurance are the most valuable things you can offer during this transition.

Our support does not conclude at collection. We remain available for guidance and reassurance for as long as needed as your companion settles into home life.

A Thoughtful Beginning

At House of Corso, placement is never viewed as the conclusion of a process. It is the beginning of a relationship — between companion and owner, built on trust, responsibility, structure, and the understanding that the strongest bonds are formed thoughtfully over time.

We are honoured to become part of that beginning with you.

Every lasting relationship begins with a single thoughtful step forward.
